For our Podcast project I wanted to create an interesting debate. I have a roommate from New York and another from North Carolina, so naturally I had to ask them a simple question: Which is better the North or South? While the debate didn't get heated it was nice to hear the differences in their answers and it is enjoyable to listen to. Everyone has their answer to the question, and this podcast includes answers from a Southerner and a Yankee.

It is the only all concrete, steel-reinforced pier in North Carolina and attracts many visitors and locals to Wrightsville Beach each year. During this portcast episode we have met with Kim, a volunteer for a local rescue organization, Columbus Humane Society. CHS takes animals from puppy mills and irresponsible owners and fosters them back to health before adopting them out. Kim talks to us about the circumstances under which puppy mill dogs live and breed and attempts to encourage the end of puppy mills.
