I have a roommate from New York and another from North Carolina, so naturally I had to ask them a simple question: Which is better the North or South? While the debate didn't get heated it was nice to hear the differences in their answers and it is enjoyable to listen to. Everyone has their answer to the question, and this podcast includes answers from a Southerner and a Yankee.

Johnnie Mercer's pier dates back to the 1930s when it was built by Julian Morton and has stood the test of time through a variety of owners and a couple of hurricanes that almost destroyed it indefinately. It is the only all concrete, steel-reinforced pier in North Carolina and attracts many visitors and locals to Wrightsville Beach each year. CHS takes animals from puppy mills and irresponsible owners and fosters them back to health before adopting them out.
